Mohsin Hamid

Mohsin Hamid grew up in Lahore, Pakistan. He studied at Princeton under Toni Morrison and Harvard Law, and currently lives in New York City.

Mohammed Hanif

Mohammed Hanif was born in Okara. A former head of the BBC Urdu Service, he is the author of A Case of Exploding Mangoes. He lives in Karachi.

Daniyal Mueenuddin

Daniyal Mueenuddin graduated from Dartmouth College and Yale Law School. After a Fulbright Scholarship in Norway, he practised law in New York before returning to Khànpur, Pakistan. ‘Provide, Provide’ (Granta 104) is taken from his collection, In Other Rooms, Other Wonders, which was be published in April 2009.

Kamila Shamsie was born in Karachi, Pakistan, in 1973. She has received degrees from Hamilton College, Clinton, New York and the University of Massachusetts. This is her first novel.
